The Dallas Cowboys are attempting to end the playoff hopes of their NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles this weekend. The Week 16 NFL picks and predictions don't project that to happen, however.
The Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles have one of the best rivalries in the NFL, making every one of their match-ups worth watching. This weekend's contest has a bit extra added as it will allow the Cowboys to knock the Eagles out of playoff contention with a win, but the NFL picks and predictions indicate that might not happen.
The Eagles, playing for their playoff lives as they sit two games under .500, are projected to win by three points according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King.
Great game. Game of the weekend. And if I'm right -- Philly over Dallas, Jets over Giants -- the Eagles will have a very solid playoff shot in Week 17. In this game, I trust Michael Vick to make more plays than Tony Romo, and that's saying something because of how well Romo's playing.
The experts over at ESPN are sold on the Eagles keeping their playoff hopes alive, too, as only Mike Golic and Seth Wickersham picked the Cowboys this weekend. Rounding it out, the Yahoo! Sports experts went with the Eagles as well, though the consensus fan vote went to the Eagles.
