The Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders battle in a race to the AFC West finish. Both teams still have a shot at winning the division.
The AFC West title is coming down to the final two weeks of the regular season, and both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders are still alive. By playing each other this Saturday, the Chiefs and the Raiders will sort out the division by just a little bit.
An Oakland win over Kansas City results in the Chiefs being eliminated from the playoffs. A win for the Chiefs could mean a couple of things. If the Chiefs win and the Broncos win, Denver wins the division. But should the Broncos lose, the fate of the division will wait until the final week of the season.
The Chiefs defeated the Raiders earlier in the season, 28-0, on the road. Will the Raiders be able to go into Arrowhead Stadium in December and pull off an upset? The Raiders are surely looking to forget the unraveling the team had in the final five minutes of the game against the Detroit Lions, losing, 28-27, on a blocked field goal. The Chiefs, on the other hand, pulled off what was thought nigh-impossible by defeating the Green Bay Packers, 19-14.
