Like a precious flower emerging from a field of manure, the Oakland Raiders have produced something worthwhile from their penalty-fest with the Kansas City Chiefs. Carson Palmer hit Denarius Moore for a 61-yard touchdown to make it 10-3 Raiders in the third quarter.
The Raiders offense was having a no-good, very-bad day up until now. Palmer's stats now look semi-respectable at 13-of-19 for 175 yards, TD and 2 INTs. Moore leads the team with 4 receptions for 94 yards and the score. Moore now has 26 catches for 423 yards and 4 TDs on the year.
Palmer had spread the wealth around, hitting seven different receivers for receptions so far.
Meanwhile the Raiders and Cheifs continue to rack up the penalties. The two have combined for 23 as they march towards the NFL record of 37.
