Patriots Vs. Dolphins: Tom Brady Brings Pats Back With Touchdown Pass, Run

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New England Patriots spent the first half of their game Saturday against the Miami Dolphins on the losing end. In what always seemed inevitable, Tom Brady has brought the Pats roaring back and tied the game up 17-17 as the third quarter comes to a close.

Down 17-3, Brady completed a seven play, 28-yard drive with a 1-yard dink to Deion Branch to bring New England within a touchdown. Five minutes later, he capped a seven-play, 41-yars drive with a 1-yard touchdown run of his own. And just like that, the Pats are back in it.

Brady is recovering from a slow start and has 210 yards and 1 passing TD on 21-of-37 attempts to go with his rushing TD. Wes Welker is the main recipient of his passes with eight grabs for 59 yards. Rob Gronkowski has added five catches for 63 yards and Branch has 3 receptions for 37 yards.
