Saturday's game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders has been a thoroughly ugly affair. And both teams are trying to do everything they can to keep it going.
Down 13-6, the Chiefs' inept offense suddenly came to life, driving 80-yards in five plays. Dexter McCluster's 49-yard run brought them down to the Raiders' three-yard-line and the drive culminated in a Dwayne Bowe touchdown run to tie things up.
A quick Raider three-and-out then gave way to one last chance for the Chiefs in regulation. They attempted a 49-yard field goal for the win, which was blocked, sending the game into overtime.
It's been a game marred by turnovers (four INTs) and penalties (26 for 180 yards) but both squads decided to make it interesting late in the game. Better late than never.
