Dec 24, 2011 - The Baltimore Ravens are one win close to a first round by in the playoffs following a 20-14 over the Cleveland Browns. Baltimore moves to 11-4 on the season, tied with Pittsburgh for the second-best record in the AFC. A win next week, even with a Pittsburgh win, would give them the second seed, behind the Patriots, in the playoffs.
Joe Flacco threw two touchdown passes, including a 42-yard pass to running back Ray Rice. Flacco finished with just 132 passing yards. Rice had a big outing. He carried the ball 23 times for 87 yards. Rice also caught three passes for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Cleveland lost their 11th game of the season, but they had to at least be somewhat pleased that running back Peyton Hillis managed to run for 112 yards against a tough Ravens defense. Josh Cribbs returned a punt for a touchdown in the third quarter.
The Ravens conclude their regular season with a road game against the Bengals next week. Cleveland finishes the season with a game against the Steelers.
