VIDEO: Tony Romo Leaves Game With Right Hand Injury

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New York Giants just sealed their victory over the New York Jets, so no matter what happens between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys will play the Giants in Week 17 in a winner-take-all game for the NFC East. However, early in the first quarter, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went to the locker room with a right hand injury:

He throws with his right hand, so chances are, regardless of the severity of Romo's injury, we won't see him return in this game. which has been rendered meaningless. Unless he can play 100 percent healthy, head coach Jason Garrett will likely elect to rest him.

The Eagles, now officially eliminated from playoff contention, have a 7-0 lead in this game thanks to a hookup of MIchael Vick and Brent Celek for a touchdown.
