Can the Tennessee Titans beat the Houston Texans and sneak into the playoffs? The odds makers favor them to win this game.

The Tennessee Titans need several things to happen in order to make the postseason this year. The one factor that they have control over is winning their regular season finale against the Houston Texans. Houston already has the AFC South wrapped up, setting up a situation in which they could limit their starters. Because of that, the line on this game has moved to the Titans' favor.

Tennessee opened the week as one-point favorites. Since then, various odds makers have them as three-point favorites over the Texans. The Titans are 6-8-1 against the spread this season. The Texans are 10-5 against the spread this season.

The over/under on the game is 40 points. Tennessee is still planning to start Matt Hasselbeck despite the veteran being outperformed by rookie quarterback Jake Locker in recent weeks. The over on this game would be the smarter bet.
