Tony Romo Practices Again; Expected To Start For Cowboys Vs. Giants

Stay connected with SB Nation

All signs are pointing toward Tony Romo starting for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night against the New York Giants with the NFC East title at stake. Romo practiced for a second consecutive day on Thursday and appears on track to start in the regular season finale.

Romo bruised his hand in Week 16 but has been practicing with a wrap on his hand, which isn't affecting his throws.

The Cowboys face a win-and-you're-in situation against the Giants on Sunday night. Both teams are 8-7 with the winner making a trip to the playoffs. Clearly this is the most important game of the year for the Cowboys so there should be little doubt left that Romo will be on the field.

The Giants are a 2.5 point favorite heading into the game.
