Dallas takes on the Giants in a winner-take-all match-up for the NFC East crown and a playoff spot.
The Dallas Cowboys have had a season of extreme ups and downs. Heading into the final week of the 2011 NFL regular season, they have one final opponent standing between them and a postseason berth. In Week 17, they will visit division rivals the New York Giants. The winner of that final game will take the NFC East and head to the playoffs. The loser will head home.
Four of the five CBS Sports experts think it will be the Giants headed to the playoffs. The Giants are the slightly-favored pick of the ESPN crew as well.
Peter King picks the G-men, but admits it's pretty much a toss-up.
Impossible to pick. Was set to pick Dallas until Wednesday morning, when I just started to think: Who's rushing the passer better than Jason Pierre-Paul right now? Who can cover Victor Cruz? Which quarterback do I trust more in the last five minutes? And so I changed to the G-men. So scientific.
