Raiders' LB Rolando McClain Expected To Play Against Dolphins

Oakland Raiders middle linebacker Rolando McClain is reportedly expected to play Sunday per a league source, though head coach Hue Jackson has not yet officially declared his status against the Miami Dolphins

The Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins released their inactive lists for Sunday and McClain is still listed as active.

McClain was arrested on Thursday and charged with discharging a firearm in public, third degree assault, menacing and reckless endangerment. He was released on bail Thursday afternoon and met the team at their hotel in Ft. Lauderdale on Friday.

McClain took part in the Raiders' Saturday walkthrough at Dolphins Stadium. If McClain is inactive, the Raiders would likely move outside linebacker Aaron Curry into the middle spot.

Head coach Hue Jackson had said Friday he was going to wait on his decision about McClain until he had a chance to speak with the player. He spoke with him Friday and McClain's reported contrition likely helped soothe Jackson's concerns to some extent. What also might have helped is a report that the Raiders own investigation of the incident has revealed details that contradict the allegations against McClain.
