The Detroit Lions were threatening early in the fourth quarter, trailing the New Orleans Saints by a touchdown. For a moment, we had a game on our hands, but thanks to Darren Sproles, the Saints have a bit of breathing room. Sproles, who has been an absolutely superb pickup for the Saints, did what he's done all year, finding the end zone once again.
The touchdown gave the Saints some breathing room, putting them back on top by 14. As it stands now, New Orleans leads with just under six minutes to go, 31-17. If you missed Sproles' touchdown, you can relive the magic here.
The touchdown came after a missed field goal, with the Saints exploiting the short field with a quick touchdown. And it may have just been the dagger.
