The Jets are fighting for a spot in the playoffs. The Chiefs are fighting with Tyler Palko under center. Experts predict a Jets win.
It's late-season playoff push time in New York, where the Jets have won two straight and now meet Tyler Palko and the Chiefs in Week 14 of the 2011 NFL season. Looks like a win for New York, right? Well, let's see what predictions can the experts offer us?
SB Nation's Andrew Sharp likes the Jets to cover in his NFL Picks Week 14 column:
Kansas City at New York Jets (-12) ... Can't wait to have Rex and an overmatched Jets team sneak into the playoffs, only to pull off two upsets and lose in the AFC title game. It's always fun.
And Sports Illustrated's Peter King is also picking the Jets, mainly because of Tyler Palko. Oh, Tyler Palko.
The last time they played, three years ago, Brett Favre threw a last-minute touchdown to Laveranues Coles to win. I can't see such heroics being necessary this time, though Kansas City's D could outplay Rex's. The only problem is that Tyler Palko's the other quarterback.
