The 49ers meet up with the Cardinals in Week 14 of the 2011 NFL season. Last week, San Francisco bounced back from its first loss since Week 2 by crushing the Rams 26-0. Arizona (5-7) is not exactly St. Louis, but from a glance at the expert picks for this week, the Cards could just be another sacrificial lamb at the alter of the Niners playoff push.
Sports Illustrated's Peter King thinks the game will be close, but the 49ers will eek out a victory 20-19:
No Patrick Willis? No problem. Well, not exactly. But the Niners will figure out a way, and NaVorro Bowman will show what a great player he is, as the Niners survive on the road without their hamstrung defensive leader.
The experts at CBSSports.com seem to agree, giving San Francisco the slight edge, 3-2. The ESPN.com panel is leaning more heavily toward San Francisco, with seven out of eight experts liking the Niners.
