Tim Tebow! The Broncos have their franchise quarterback while the Bears lost theirs to injury. Is that enough for a Denver win? Tim Tebow!
Another week, another Tim Tebow event to watch and talk about! Oh, right -- the Broncos and Bears will meet to play a football game in Week 14 of the 2011 NFL schedule, too. So can the Broncos continue to win under Tebow? Well, the experts predict it will happen thanks in large part to the absence of Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler.
We'll talk about that football game. But first more Tebow via Andrew Sharp's NFL Picks Week 14 column:
Chicago at Denver (-3.5) ... Sometimes I like to think that Tim Tebow has an alter-ego named "Tom". Kinda like Charlie and Hank in Me, Myself, & Irene. Where one second he's Tim, the All-American hero that always thanks God first, and the next he's Tom, drunkenly crashing his car into the side of a strip club where he was supposed to meet his GHB dealer. Tim Tebow's a role model, yeah... But just wait till the world finds out about Tom.
As for the game, Sports Illustrated's Peter King forecasts the Broncos winning a low-scoring contest:
So much about this game would have been different if Jay Cutler were playing in it. Like, the outcome. As it is, Tim Tebow's the pick to win his seventh game in eight starts.
The ESPN.com panel is in love with Tebow, picking the Broncos 7-1. The CBSSports.com crew is also on board with Denver, going 5-0 in favor of the Broncos.
