Buffalo Bills fans haven't had a lot to get excited about lately, but here's something: the team has announced it will show off newly designed uniforms later this year. RB Fred Jackson has seen them already and highly approves, as do other Bills players on Twitter.
The team's release says the new duds will "incorporate the team's history while keeping the team's signature charging buffalo logo." The unis won't be true throwbacks, instead some sort of new design that references the franchise's better days. For reference, here's what their helmet looked like before the buffalo logo got its hustle on:
There's no truth to the rumor that Stevie Johnson tried on the new uniforms and then tore them to bits while wandering the wilderness and shaking his fists at the heavens, but Chan Gailey was stirred from a post-breakfast nap by the new design, so they must be very striking.
