Apparently, we're not the only ones eager to find out what's going on in the NFL labor situation. So are the players -- after all, they might need to find new jobs unless they've stashed a few million away. As we've alread noted, Bart Scott has taken to wrestling, and Tom Zbikowski has scheduled a boxing match.
Chris Johnson has also figured out what he's going to do:
Boy they need to let me kno what's gonna happen with this NFL lockout cause if they do ima join the us track team.
We assume he means the U.S. track team, though Johnson would probably be welcome on the US Weekly squad for next summer's Media Olympics.
It's not surprising that players might be considering what to do with all that free time, and it could allow for some entertaining experiences. For example, it's long past time that A.J. Hawk did his stint on Dancing With The Stars. Santonio Holmes could start up a valet service. And Michael Vick could open a Petco or some kind of dog kenne-- on second thought, strike that last one.
Brett Favre, of course, will appear on television shows and play the part of a confused man going through a midlife crisis. Or, pretty much what he's done every offseason for the last three or four years now.
