The 2011 NFL Schedule continues to filter out in advance of its 7 pm ET reveal. A few Chicago Bears items have been reported by way of ESPN Chicago’s Carmen DeFalco.

According to the report, the Bears will open their 2011 season at home against the Atlanta Falcons, play on the road against the Green Bay Packers on Christmas Day in Week 16, and travel to play the Minnesota Vikings to close the regular season.

That opener against Atlanta is a potential Monday Night Football matchup, as it pairs two 2010 playoff teams. One MNF game is already being reported, but the league likes to schedule two for the opening weekend.

The Bears might not get multiple Monday night games, however, and Fox Sports Detroit is reporting they’ll play the Detroit Lions on Oct. 10. Yes, the Detroit Lions! Never thought you’d see the day!
