Denver Broncos 2011 Schedule: NFC North, AFC East Make For A Brutal Schedule

It doesn't get a whole lot tougher than the Denver Broncos have it in 2011. They play one of the hardest schedules in the NFL as they take on the NFC North and AFC East, in addition to their own division, which is no cakewalk. If he finally becomes the full-time starter, Tim Tebow, possibly the most polarizing player in the NFL, is going to have a rude introduction to his first full season as an NFL starter.

Kansas City Chiefs 2011 Schedule: Tougher Road For Defending AFC West Champs

The Kansas City Chiefs 2011 schedule is considerably tougher after the Chiefs finished the 2010 season as AFC West champions. Arizona Cardinals 2011 Schedule: It's The Easiest One Of All

This year's 2011 NFL Schedule lottery winners are...the Arizona Cardinals! Anyone could have figured out that a team in the NFC West was going to end up with the easiest schedule in the league, but the Cardinals really out-paced the field. Their opponents combined for a record 30 games under .500 last season. The Cardinals quarterback situation doesn't make them the favorites for anything, but with this schedule, Ken Wisenhunt's boys should be able to win a game or two.

San Francisco 49ers 2011 Schedule

The San Fransisco 49ers 2011 Schedule is the third easiest in the league, and their opponents combined to go 22 games under .500 last season. So, that means they should run away with the NFC West, right? Actually, the entire NFC West has an incredibly easy schedule, so that's not really the case. As fun as it is to speculate about the team's potential and some of the matchups, it's hard to judge a team with a new head coach that has no experience while in the middle of a lockout. But if you want to speculate, have at it!

Oakland Raiders 2011 Schedule: A Big Game Right Off The Bat

There's no slow start for the Oakland Raiders in 2011. The first game on their schedule is a big one, the second leg of a Monday night doubleheader in Denver. They have a game they should win after that, but the back to back games against the Jets and Patriots in Weeks 3 and 4 are potentially brutal. The Raiders looked to start ascending out of obscurity last year, but can they continue their upward trend?

Baltimore Ravens 2011 Schedule: A Not So Tough Path To The Playoffs

Minnesota Vikings 2011 Schedule: A Middle Of The Road Schedule, Closing Against The Bears

The Vikings come out of the schedule making process with a fairly middle of the road schedule, with not a lot that jumps out as being particularly easy or difficult. The most interesting part of their schedule is that their big divisional matchups against the Packers and Bears don't come until Week 6 and Week 7, when they have to play them back to back. They close the season against the Bears, but thankfully for most spectators, they'll be playing indoors instead of playing at Soldier Field in January.

New Orleans Saints 2011 Schedule: Green Bay Packers Await In Season Opener

There's no easing into the 2011 schedule for the New Orleans Saints as they open the season against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers on Thursday, Sept. 8 on NBC. The game serves as the kickoff for the 2011 NFL season, lockout permitting, and pits the previous two Super Bowl winners against each other in front of what's sure to be a rowdy Lambeau Field crowd. For the Saints, it's fresh out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The Saints' schedule is full of pitfalls, including an opening stretch that features two playoff teams -- the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears -- who made a deep run in 2010. Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts await in week seven, providing another tough matchup for Drew Brees and the Saints.

New Orleans plays two Monday Night Football games, the first of which has the Saints hosting the New York Giants at the Superdome coming out of a bye in week 12. The Atlanta Falcons and Saints have a late-season date on Monday Night Football as they take center-stage in week 17 in a matchup that could decide the NFC South.

San Diego Chargers 2011 Schedule: Early Season Tests Await

After hosting the Minnesota Vikings to open the 2011 NFL season, the San Diego Chargers face an early test as they travel to Foxborough to take-on the New England Patriots in week two. It's a chance for the Chargers to make an early statement and get the season started on the right foot as they get set to open the divisional schedule at home against the Kansas City Chiefs in week three.

The Chiefs and Chargers face-off twice in the first eight weeks, the second of which comes on Monday Night Football in week eight. The week after, on Nov. 6, the Chargers host the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers to cap a difficult start to the season. Jacksonville Jaguars 2011 Schedule: Tough Early Season Stretch Features Steelers, Ravens

The Jacksonville Jaguars ease into the 2011 NFL schedule as they open the season at home against the Tennessee Titans in week one. Carolina Panthers 2011 Schedule: Panthers Face Brutal Stretch To Open Season

As the owners of the NFL's worst record in 2010, the Carolina Panthers received a break as the 2011 schedule is put together to benefit teams with terrible records. If one were to look at the first five weeks of the Panthers schedule, though, it would be hard to tell Carolina owns the top pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.

A week two matchup against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, a week four matchup against the Chicago Bears and a week five matchup against the New Orleans Saints is a brutal stretch for the Panthers ad they try to right the ship. Compounding matters is the possibility Carolina will be breaking in a new quarterback as the Panthers are in line to take either Blaine Gabbert or Cam Newton in the 2011 NFL Draft. Whoever they choose will get a warm welcome to the NFL.

It does get easier, but not before the Panthers travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons in week six. Not surprisingly, no prime-time games are scheduled for the Panthers in 2011 after a dismal previous season.

Below is the full schedule, courtesy of NFL.com:

1 Sun, Sept. 11 at Arizona Cardinals FOX 4:15 p.m.

Chicago Bears 2011 Schedule: A Brutal Opening

Regardless of how good you think the 2011 Chicago Bears might be, you have to accept the possibility that they could start the season 0-3. Honestly, if they did, it wouldn't make them any less of a Super Bowl contender. Their schedule starts with games against the Falcons, Saints, and Packers, who are all playoff favorites to just about anyone. Thankfully for Lovie Smith's boys, it gets a little easier after that, but it might be hard to recover if the Bears get off to a slow start.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2011 Schedule: Playing The Bears In London Could Be Troublesome

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2011 schedule begins pretty favorably for them with match-ups against old NFL Central foes in the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings. It gets harder after that, however, with home games against the divisional rival Atlanta Falcons followed by a Monday Night Football game against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.

The most difficult game for the Bucs might be their Week 7 game against the Chicago Bears, though, considering the difficulties that can exist when playing a game halfway around the world in London.

If Tampa Bay is in the playoff hunt, that final week against the Falcons could be awfully important as well.

Seattle Seahawks 2011 Schedule: Rebuilding Hawks Begin Season With Tough Stretch

The Seattle Seahawks 2011 schedule begins just as it did last year against the NFC West rival San Francisco 49ers, but this time it's an away game in the Bay to open the season as the Seahawks look to make it back to the NFL playoffs.

The Seahawks have the 24th hardest schedule when looking at last records for their opponents, but with games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons before their bye week in Week 6, it doesn't seem all that easy.

The only two primetime games for the Seahawks this season come back-to-back with Week 13 being a Thursday night game on the NFL Network against the Philadelphia Eagles before hosting the St. Louis Rams on Monday Night Football the following week.

St. Louis Rams 2011 Schedule: Sam Bradford Will Be Tested Early

The St. Louis Rams 2011 schedule will start out with a pretty stiff test -- assuming the NFL lockout is solved by then -- as second-year quarterback Sam Bradford will face the staunch defenses of the Philadelphia Eagles at home, the New York Giants on the road for Monday Night Football and then the Baltimore Ravens at home over the course of the first three weeks of the NFL regular season.

The most important game might come during the last week of the season, however, as the San Francisco 49ers visit on New Year's Day in a game that could be quite important in the NFC West playoff race.

Pittsburgh Steelers 2011 Schedule: Tough Start, But Ends On An Easy Note

The Pittsburgh Steelers 2011 NFL schedule is ranked as the 28th hardest when looking at last season's records, but the first few weeks could be difficult with visits to the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts sandwiching a home game with the Seattle Seahawks.

It gets much easier, however, as the Steelers face four teams that failed to register winning records last season from Weeks 4-7 and then don't meet a team that made last season's playoffs over the final five weeks of the season.

The Steelers have five primetime games, three of which come after their Week 11 bye.

Houston Texans 2011 Schedule: Nasty Schedule Opens With Some Tough Games

If the Houston Texans are going to make the playoffs in 2011, they're going to have to do it with the tenth hardest schedule in the league. Hopefully, the team and the fans won't panic if they get off to a rough start, as games against the Colts, Saints, and Steelers would be rough for anyone. Away to Miami isn't exactly a picnic either. Indianapolis Colts 2011 Schedule: Tough, Due To A Lack Of Gimmies

According to NFL.com, the Indianapolis Colts' schedule is the fifth hardest in the league. On first glance, it doesn't really appear all that crazy. The NFC South is a reasonably tough matchup and their own division is no picnic, but there certainly isn't any murderers row here. Their schedule is just short on bad teams and heavy on average teams, giving the schedule a good average record and a high difficulty rating. The opening game of the season, against the Houston Texans, could be a huge one for both teams.

Cincinnati Bengals 2011 Schedule: Carson Palmer's Gone, And Here Come The Browns!

The Cincinnati Bengals prepare to head into their first schedule minus Carson Palmer since 2002, and what a 2011 schedule it is. All but four games are set for early Sunday time slots, with those four excursions headed nowhere exciting.

But still! Round one of the 2011 Battle of Ohio in Week 1? That's pretty good, right? A 4-0 start heading into a trip to Jacksonville isn't out of the question, depending on how the 49ers are looking under new coach Jim Harbaugh. So is an 0-4 start, of course.

Buffalo Bills 2011 Schedule: Chan Gailey's Revenge Opens AFC East Campaign

The Buffalo Bills 2011 schedule begins with Chan Gailey taking on the coach who stripped him of play-calling duties in 2009: Todd Haley, coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. While Gailey's vengeful wrath is not the most enticing storyline, sports fan, you could do much worse than catching a few plays of C.J. Spiller vs. Jamaal Charles, could you not?

Buffalo's first and last AFC East games come against the Patriots -- we'll likely know all we need to know about Buffalo after Week 3. The NFL isn't expecting much from the Bills this time around, handing them only two afternoon games and no prime timers.

The entire Buffalo Bills schedule is below, courtesy of NFL.com:

Week 1: Sun, Sept. 11 at Kansas City Chiefs, CBS, 1 p.m.

New York Giants 2011 Schedule: Start 2-0, Or The Alarm Bells Will Ring

If the New York Giants don't start their season 2-0 headed into the big Week 3 clash with the Eagles, and at least 5-2 headed into the Week 9 game against the Patriots (we'll allow one slip-up), the alarm bells are seriously going to be ringing in New York. The Giants' schedule ranks as the 22nd hardest based on last year's records, and most of their easy games come in the first half of the season. Philadelphia Eagles 2011 Schedule: Bye Week Record Should Be Good

The Philadelphia Eagles 2011 NFL schedule was released on Tuesday night, giving Eagles fans something to look forward to next season as long as the NFL lockout ends in time for the season to begin on time.

The first few games might be a bit difficult as the Eagles try to get rid of their opening day jitters on the road against the St. Louis Rams before heading down South to visit the Atlanta Falcons for NBC's Sunday Night Football on Sept. 18 before returning home to host the New York Giants the following week.

After those first few weeks, however, the Eagles play the 49ers at home before going on the road to play the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins -- both of which should be winnable -- before their Week 7 bye.

The second half of the schedule features four primetime games against the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Giants and Seahawks before ending the regular season at home against the Redskins.

Washington Redskins 2011 Schedule: Season Starts At Home On Anniversary Of September 11 Attacks

The Washington Redskins get a national audience for the first game of the 2011 NFL season, as they open against the New York Giants at FedEx Field on Sept. 11, exactly a decade after the terrorist attacks on the United States that occurred in both cities. After that, the Redskins get another home game before hitting the road for two and then getting an early weekend off in Week 5. After a Week 6 game against Philadelphia, Washington hits the softest portion of its schedule with games at Buffalo, Carolina, Miami and at home against San Francisco. This is where you're reminded that the Redskins went 6-10 last season, though the slate stiffens a bit to close the regular season.

The entire Washington Redskins schedule is below, courtesy of NFL.com:

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 11 vs. New York Giants, FOX 4:15 p.m.
Week 2: Sunday, Sept. 18 vs. Arizona Cardinals, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 3: Mon, Sept. 26 at Dallas Cowboys, ESPN 8:30 p.m.
Week 4: Sunday, Oct. 2 at St. Louis Rams, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 5: Bye
Week 6: Sunday, Oct. 16 vs. Philadelphia Eagles, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 7: Sunday, Oct. 23 at Carolina Panthers, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 30 at Buffalo Bills, FOX 4:05 p.m.
Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 6 vs. San Francisco 49ers, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 10: Sunday, Nov. 13 at Miami Dolphins, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 11: Sunday, Nov. 20 vs. Dallas Cowboys, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 12: Sunday, Nov. 27 at Seattle Seahawks, FOX 4:05 p.m.
Week 13: Sunday, Dec. 4 vs. New York Jets, CBS 1 p.m.
Week 14: Sunday, Dec. 11 vs. New England Patriots, CBS 1 p.m.
Week 15: Sunday, Dec. 18 at New York Giants, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 16: Sunday, Dec. 24 vs. Minnesota Vikings, FOX 1 p.m.
Week 17: Sunday, Jan. 1 at Philadelphia Eagles, FOX 1 p.m.

It's also worth noting that the Redskins are scheduled to play just one prime time game this season; they had played at least three night games in each of the previous three seasons.
