Darnell Dockett has an alligator named Nino. We know this because Dockett took to his Twitter account, a must-follow if there ever was one, to show off his new pet and narrate its life. As you can imagine, the adventures of Darnell and Nino is an entertaining webisode for everyone. That is, everyone except PETA.
PETA was unhappy with Dockett and felt his ownership of a gator was some form of animal cruelty. Dockett responded last week by reminding fans that Nino is being treated like a king, dining on only the finest steak from Ruth Cris and the most delicious waffles from a nearby waffle house.
But PETA persisted, sending Dockett a letter on Monday. He clearly wasn't happy, and took to Twitter to discuss the latest developments in the Nino case with the world.
I just got the Letter from @peta lmfao! I'm gonna next day this sh*t right back to em! With a pic of me and NINO eating at Waffle house!less than a minute ago via UberSocial

Darnell Dockett has officially put the summer MVP race out of reach. It's over, people. Dockett has made this a race for second-place.
Tune in next week to find out what happens next in the Adventures of Darnell and Nino.
