Yes, NFL owners voted Thursday night on a plan that would end the lockout if the players agreed. But so far it looks like players don't agree, not that they even got to see the plan before the world began demanding them to accept it. Except, apparently, Ravens rep Domonique Foxworth, who may be leading fellow Baltimore players to the Dark Side.
Chris Mortensen collected strong words from a few players, as did several other media members as players took to Twitter to express their views first-hand. Some have been steamed and others have been flippant, but it's clear we're in for more NFL lockout talk. Wheee!

Waa waa waa. I want more millions (players). I want more billions (owners). I’m so tired of paying outrageous ticket , beer, food, parking, and merchandise prices – and getting constantly screwed (FANS!!!!)

Then fans should ask for a better system
@JW The owners are never going to decrease the ticket beed, food or parking prices, no matter what the players agree to. But, fans could do better to focus on the inefficiencies of the NFL in terms of the states. why does a republic which is so big, have leagues that span it, why can’t the NFL reorganize itself efficiently. That would change a lot of prices and fees for fans while still growing the games professionalism locally . what do you think ? http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/8252631/sports_2011.html?fb_comment_id=fbc_10150241904474064_17766971_10150242656634064

Yeah, the fans obviously don't figure into this equation whatsoever.
Do they forget who helps supply their paychecks?

Funny!!!
Somehow the players are trying to impune the approval of the deal because the owners made it up. If we had waited for the players to do it, we’d still be sitting in court rooms waiting for verdicts. The players are saying that they aren’t on the owners timetable? What about we just realize that this is the FANS football timetable? Go ahead and scuttle the season players. Let’s just see how much money there is to divide after you take that away from the golden goose.

@aiken-Drum: another direction
What if we focused instead on owners. If you really want players to face a tough reality, lets tell the owners who cant handle the current deal with the players demands to sell their team or close it if they cant find a buyer who can handle the deal the players want. Most teams will close shop and players will not have as many teams to offer a contract too. If i own a deli and you are a customer who buys goods. If I cant handle the price of the chips but those are the chips you like, the solution is simplest for me, since I own a restaurant also. sell or close the deli and go back to my restaurant. Customers will have to get their chips somewhere else. I wasnt a good enough businessperson to handle owning a deli. If an owner complains about owning only one solution exists, dont complain about employees or products, close or sell to someone who can handle it.
