The Kansas City Chief have yet to agree to terms with an unrestricted free agent from another but, according to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, Arizona Cardinals WR Steve Breaston could have a home in Kansas City. La Canfora reports he's hearing that Breaston could reunite with Chiefs head coach Todd Haley.
This, of course, is unofficial and unconfirmed at the moment but apparently Breaston's on the Chiefs radar. The Chiefs could use a third receiver after No. 1 WR Dwayne Bowe and rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin.
Breaston and Haley were with the Cardinals together in 2008 when Breaston topped 1,000 yards receiving for the only time in his career. On that level, a reunion in Kansas City makes sense.
There were reportedly up to six teams in contention for Breaston as of Tuesday. It appears the Chiefs may be closing in.
