Josh Wilson The Latest Redskins Free Agent Signing, According To Report

The Washington Redskins' spending spree continues. According to reports by Baltimore beat writer Jamison Hensley, cornerback Josh Wilson reached an agreement with the team late Wednesday afternoon. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the deal is worth $13.5 million over three-years, including $6 million guaranteed.

Drafted out of Maryland in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft, Wilson began his career with the Seattle Seahawks. He played in 40 games for the team, nabbing six interceptions over three years.

In the fall of 2010, Wilson was traded to the Baltimore Ravens for a conditional 2011 draft pick, a move that did not sit well with some Seahawks fans. The 26-year old performed well in his lone year with in Baltimore, totaling 40 tackles, 14 pass deflections, and three interceptions. Wilson had his shining moment in the thirteenth game of Balitmore's season, returning a Matt Schaub interception for a game-winning touchdown in overtime against the Houston Texans.
