Jason Taylor Reportedly Returns To Miami Dolphins For A Third Time

Jason Taylor is back with the Miami Dolphins. Taylor's foundation posted the following message on their Facebook page Monday afternoon:

We are very excited to share with all of you that Jason has made his decision regarding where he is playing for the upcoming 2011 season. Jason is coming home to MIAMI and will once again proudly wear the aqua and orange! He hasn't told anyone yet, so let's just keep this between us! Shhh!

This is his third go-round with the Dolphins. He started his career in Miami playing 11 years for the Dolphins before moving to the Washington Redskins for a year. He returned to Miami after that for one season and in 2010 joined the New York Jets for a year.

So he returns to Miami once again. The 36-year old linebacker doesn't have a whole lot left but he's valuable to have around with as much experience as he has. The Sun-Sentinel thinks he'll have a complementary role on the Dolphins defense.

Taylor will likely serve as a break-in-case of emergency pass rusher, backing up Cameron Wake and Koa Misi. It's possible he could exclusively be used on passing downs, paired with Wake.
