NFL Free Agency: Jamaal Anderson, Colts Reportedly Agree To One-Year Deal
Pro Football Talk reports that former Atlanta Falcons defensive end Jamaal Anderson will play for the Indianapolis Colts in 2011.
Anderson was the eighth overall pick in the NFL Draft in 2007 out of Arkansas, but he never did much in Atlanta, totaling 4.5 sacks in four years. The Falcons released him late last week in a move designed to clear cap space.
Stampede Blue thinks the Colts will be likely to use Anderson partly as a defensive end and partly as a defensive tackle.
Anderson will provide depth at defensive end behind Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis.
