Jonathan Baldwin Injury: Chiefs Rookie To Miss Time After Reported 'Scuffle' With Thomas Jones

The troubled receiver will likely miss the rest of preseason with a wrist injury.

Jonathan Baldwin reportedly made the mistake of getting into a locker room scuffle with Thomas Jones at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp, and is now paying the price. Baldwin will likely miss the rest of preseason after injuring his wrist in the scuffle. His absence from the team's last two practice was previously mysterious.

Baldwin carried a bad reputation for with him from Pittsburgh for having a "diva" attitude. That reputation has reportedly followed him to Kansas City. His immense potential made him a first-round pick in April, however. If he can rebound from this latest setback, the Chiefs should field a formidable receiving corps, with Dwayne Bowe, Jerheme Urban and Steve Breaston also in tow.

The 6-5, 230-lb. Baldwin caught 53 passes for 822 yards and five touchdowns in his last season with Pittsburgh. He was hardly a model citizen however, including a run-in with the law his sophomore year.
