Not to raise the specter of Rhymes With Met Carve or anything, but Colts owner Jim Irsay's tweet about being in Mississippi to do a deal with the devil like Robert Johnson did is suspicious as all get out.
Following that up with a tweet/misdirected direct message about Hattiesburg, where Brett Favre lives, is probably one of four things: a) a deliberate head-fake designed to distract while the Colts sign a veteran quarterback who isn't Favre, b) a sign the Colts will soon lure Favre out of retirement to back up for a still-recuperating Peyton Manning, c) a sign that the Colts are at least trying to do that, or d) Jim Irsay just kind of being a jerk and playing a REALLY UNFUNNY TWITTER JOKE.
For what it's worth, Newsday's Bob Glauber is worried, too.
