The Buffalo Bills will host the David Garrard and the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday night. For Jags LB Paul Posluszny, it'll be a chance to square off against his former team.
When the winless Buffalo Bills host the 1-1 Jacksonville Jaguars at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Saturday night, they'll be looking for more production out of their first-team offense. Led by Ryan Fitzpatrick, the Bills' No. 1 unit has led just two scoring drives -- both of which were field goals -- in three quarters of action.
After sitting behind 2010 first-round pick C.J. Spiller in Week 2 against the Denver Broncos, running back Fred Jackson will get the start against the Jaguars, a designation he intends to have when the Bills open the regular season against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jaguars starting quarterback David Garrard and the first-team offense is expected to play into the third quarter against the Bills before giving way to 2011 first-round pick Blaine Gabbert, who has yet to show that he's ready to unseat Garrard for the job.
For Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny, Saturday night will be a homecoming of sorts. The fifth-year linebacker spent the first four years of his career with the Bills before signing a six-year, $38 million contract with the Jaguars on July 29.
The Jaguars will be without running back Maurice Jones-Drew and Aaron Kampman, who are coming off knee surgeries and are being held out until the preseason finale.
