Saints Vs. Raiders Score: New Orleans, Oakland Exchange Touchdowns Early On

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New Orleans Saints and the Oakland Raiders, tied at seven, certainly look ready for the regular season if their first quarter play on Sunday is an indication of things to come. Drew Brees led the Saints to an opening drive touchdown. On the first play from scrimmage, Brees hit Devery Henderson for a 37-yard gain. He finished the drive 7-of-9 for 80 yards before Mark Ingram rushed one yard for a touchdown.

The Raiders wasted no time in coming back from the early deficit. Jason Campbell found Derek Hagan for a 35-yard touchdown pass to complete an 11-play, 91-yard drive. Campbell went 4-of-5 for 56 yards. Running back Michael Bush had several key runs and picked up 32 yards on five carries.

For anyone hoping to get a glimpse of the Raiders' Terrelle Pryor, they will need to wait until the final preseason game.
