Prince Amukamara Signs With New York Giants, According To Report

The New York Giants have agreed to terms with first-round draft pick Prince Amukamara, according to reports.

The New York Giants and first round draft pick Price Amukamara have agreed to terms, according to AP reports released late Thursday night. The deal is reportedly not yet official, though it should make the 22-year-old cornerback the last first-round pick of the 2011 class to sign with a team.

Drafted with the 19th pick of the NFL Draft, Amukamara enters the NFL on the heels of a stellar collegiate career at the University of Nebraska. He totaled 155 tackles, five interceptions, four sacks, and three forced fumbles in four years, while transforming the Cornhusker defense into one of the most feared squads in the country.

Amukamara will be joining a veteran Giants secondary anchored by Corey Webster, Kenny Phillips, and two-time Pro Bowler Antrel Rolle. The rookie is expected to battle for a starting role.
