Why hello there, August 9, date of the Madden NFL 12 demo's release on various gaming platforms. Sounds like you'll get to choose between two teams, the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers, who are quarterbacked by the guy EA Sports had to assume would end up as the cover athlete, or the Chicago Bears, whose stadium will make its Madden debut in all its terrible-grassed glory.
The demo won't have updated rosters yet, so don't panic at the sight of Nick Barnett still in a Packers uniform. You don't want to know what happened to the last guy who did that. It also won't have any Gus Johnson, so f--- the whole thing.
Peyton Hillis is apparently still the cover athlete for the actual game itself, and not just the cover athlete for the demo. That whole thing would've made a lot more sense if Hillis was just the demo cover guy.
