The Lions meet the Bills in a final tuneup before the regular season.
The Detroit Lions will take on the Bills in Buffalo for the last week of preseason in a game that will prominently feature backups on both sides. The Lions come into the game banged up. Jahvid Best missed last week's preseason game against the Patriots after suffering a concussion against Cleveland. The Lions were also without Kyle Vanden Bosch (shoulder), Nick Fairley (foot), Jason Fox (foot), Maurice Morris (hand) and Alphonso Smith (foot).
The Bills may be relatively healthier, but count on limited snaps for the starters anyway as the team prepares for the start of the regular season. Buffalo is coming off a 35-32 win over Jacksonville. Ryan Fitzpatrick had a sterling performance, going 11-for-12 passing for 165 yards and two touchdowns. Steve Johnson was Fitzpatrick's biggest beneficiary on the day, catching four pass for 76 yards including a 52-yard touchdown.
