The NFL preseason schedule continues on Thursday night with a whopping 15 games.
The 2011 NFL preseason schedule rolls into its final week as we've got 15 games on tap Thursday night and one final game on Friday night which will complete all the preseason games this year. The NFL likes to give teams enough time to prepare for the season opener on Sept. 11 so 30 of the league's 32 teams will be playing Thursday night giving them 10 days before the season opener.
SB Nation will have previews of every game coming throughout the day but, for now, here's a look at what I consider the top three games this week.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Atlanta Falcons: A reasonable person could say this is a Super Bowl preview. The Ravens are annually one of the league's best teams and the Falcons are coming off of a 13-win campaign in 2010.
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Jets: Like the Ravens and Falcons game, this could be a Super Bowl preview as well. The Eagles made the biggest splash in the preseason signing CB Nnamdi Asomugha, and by signing QB MIchael Vick to a long-term deal this week (and Vick won't be playing in this game, by the way). The Jets are the Jets. Two straight AFC Championship games and arguably the league's top defense.
New York Giants vs. New England Patriots: This may not be a Super Bowl preview like the other two games but it's a Super Bowl re-do as the Giants are the team that beat the previously undefeated Patriots in the 2007 NFL season.
