Donovan McNabb was suffering from a wrist injury this week, but practiced and was listed as probable. He was expected by all to be the Minnesota Vikings starting quarterback against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon. So, it came as a massive shock when CBSSports.com's Dave Richard dropped the bomb that McNabb was inactive for today's game.
The report circulated quickly, but it seemed a little fishy, especially considering the fact that the Vikings listed their inactives three hours earlier on their own website. McNabb was not on that list. Richard eventually got a correction on his tweet and confirmed that McNabb is active. You can back away from the ledge, Vikings fans.
We got an erroneous report from NFL source that McNabb was out. Just called the stadium. McNabb is indeed active.
Good thing we got that cleared up! Sorry if you were confused, folks. This one doesn't sound like it was Richard's fault at all.
