The Miami Dolphins host the Houston Texans this week, who bring a healthy Arian Foster to town with them. Heightened expectations set the stage for two teams that have shown a knack for scoring points this season.
Expectations run pretty high for the Houston Texans this year. Gary Kubiak's team stands apart from their battered and rebuilding division rivals. With consecutive games against the Saints and the Steelers following this one, the Texans will be looking to give themselves a little breathing room.
The Miami Dolphins' Monday night loss to the Patriots left a bad taste in their mouth. In that game, Miami allowed more than 600 yards of offense. You can imagine that Tony Sparano spent some time emphasizing the defense ahead of a second game against another offense capable of scoring big points.
Arian Foster, last season's leader in yards from scrimmage, returns this week for the Texans. Their new 3-4 defense gets a much bigger test against a Dolphins team that passed for more than 400 yards. Miami should have rookie RB Daniel Thomas back this week, and will pair him with Reggie Bush.
The Texans are 5-0 against the Dolphins in their brief franchise history.
