Kansas City Chiefs fans and fantasy football owners everywhere are holding their breath after Jamaal Charles left Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions with an apparent knee injury. Charles suffered the injury after he was pushed out of bounds and then stumbled into the Lions mascot.

If Charles were to be out for an extended period, it would be a huge blow. The Chiefs running back has rushed for more than 2,500 yards over the past two seasons and has averaged more than 6 yards per carry during his four-year NFL career. Last year, he rushed for 1,467 yards.
