So the Kevin Kolb experiment seems to be going swimmingly in Arizona. In the fourth quarter, leading the Washington Redskins by just a point, Kolb dropped back and heaved one up to Larry Fitzgerald as he was being hit. Considering the circumstances -- Kolb was being hit as he threw -- it couldn't have been a better ball.
The result? A wide-open Fitzgerald hauled in the pass, then outran the defense for 73 yards and the touchdown. The one-point lead became an eight-point lead, and the Cardinals seized control of the game, at least momentarily.
Video of the touchdown is after the jump.
It's late in the fourth quarter and the Cardinals hold a slim, 21-19 lead over the Redskins. Kolb has been solid on the day thus far, passing for 239 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Fitzgerald has seven catches for 133 yards and a score, asserting himself as the favorite target of the Cardinals' new quarterback.
