Braylon Edwards left the San Francisco 49ers' game against the Dallas Cowboys in the first quarter after suffering a right knee injury. It's not yet known if he'll return -- he reportedly limped to the locker room, and the team has dubbed his return as questionable.
Edwards tallied just one catch before leaving, good for 21 yards. 49ers quarterback Alex Smith hasn't missed a beat without him, though, connecting on 10 of his first 13 attempts for 103 yards and a touchdown, finding Kyle Williams in the end zone.
Still, the injury is a tough break for 49ers, who came into the game already missing Michael Crabtree, who's inactive due to a foot injury. Expect Ted Ginn, Jr. to see increased looks for as long as Edwards is out.
