Dallas Cowboys rookie kicker Dan Bailey missed an easy field goal early, but he's more than redeemed himself. The Cowboys are now tied with the San Fransisco 49ers at 24-24 and headed to overtime thanks to a comeback by a Tony Romo-led Cowboys team. Romo suffered a cracked rib earlier in the game, causing Jason Garrett to put Jon Kitna into the game, but Romo decided to come back onto the field and play injured after Kitna threw two interceptions.
Bailey's game-tying field goal was a perfect 47-yard effort, following a solid drive down the field by Romo in which Miles Austin was a key fixture.
The Niners have won the coin toss and elected to receive. Playoff overtime rules have been changed so that each team gets at least one possession, but regular season rules are the same. The first team to score wins.
