Sure, the San Diego Chargers lost to the New England Patriots, 35-21, but the aerial show that went on between Philip Rivers and Tom Brady led to an amazing catch by the former's star wide receiver, Vincent Jackson.
Late in the fourth quarter, Rivers dropped back in the pocket and had two wide receivers to throw to deep down the left side of the field. While it looked like the ball was going to reach the far corner of the end zone, Rivers actually touched the pass to Jackson, who was the focal point in between three Patriots defensive backs. Jackson one-handed the grab while a Patriots defender put his knees to the ground in anticipation of intercepting the pass.
Video after the jump.
That was Jackson's second touchdown of the game. He had 10 receptions for 172 yards.
