Your soundtrack. Play it.
There comes a time in every lineman's life when they have their moment in the spotlight. Or at least they hope they do. It's a rare occurrence to see a lineman rumbling down the field with the ball, but when it happens, it's pure, unadulterated bliss. It is, simply, poetry in motion.
Vince Wilfork had his moment on Sunday, and we're still on a high because of it. Sure, he didn't rumble all the way to the end zone, but damnit it doesn't matter. He gave it his best try, and entertained us all in the process.
But while Wilfork's journey to the greenest pasture of them all was cut short, the memory of it lives on. Wilfork made an acrobatic interception and saw nothing but daylight in front of him. With body mass jiggling all over the place, he ran. And ran. And ran some more, before finally being hauled down from behind.
