Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo suffered a fracture rib and a punctured lung in Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers and, even though he came out shortly, he returned to finish the game. The status of Romo for Week 3, however, is in doubt.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said this week that he wasn't sure if Romo would be able to play against the Washington Redskins in Week 3.
"I don't know," Jones said. "I really don't. I understand the nature of the injury as much as you can without being in medicine. We'll just have to see how it goes. It has everything to do with just his ability to handle the pain, and we know he has a bunch of it."
The Redskins are 2-0 so, even with Romo, this is a difficult game for them.
This will be an important story throughout the week, looking at how much Romo practices. If he's in, I'm probably picking the Cowboys. But if he's not, I think you have to give the edge to the Redskins.
