Arian Foster missed the Texans Wednesday practice leaving his status for Week 3 up in the air.

Arian Foster has yet to rid himself of the injury bug missing practice on Wednesday for the Houston Texans. Foster was hampered by the injury during the preseason and missed the Texans Week 1 game but returned in Week 2 posting 33 yards on 10 carries.

He re-aggravated the injury in that Week 2 victory over the Miami Dolphins and it appears it continues to bug him. The Houston Chronicle reports it's looking more and more like RB Ben Tate will get the start in Week 3. Foster has been described as day-to-day and has yet to be ruled out for this weekend's game against the New Orleans Saints

Even though Foster projected as one of the best backs in football this season, you can't blame head coach Gary Kubiak for going with Tate, who has amassed over 100 yards rushing in each of his first two career NFL games.

His injury is bad news for fantasy football owners as Foster was one of the top picks in most drafts but, with Tate running well and the Texans sitting at 2-0, it's not as much of an issue for the team.
