Michael Vick is listed as questionable for the Philadelphia Eagles Week 3 game against the New York Giants. Vick suffered a concussion last week in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons and his status has been in question ever since.
He took the practice field this week and did some individual drills which suggested that he was on his way to being back. However, Eagles head coach Andy Reid declined to confirm that Vick would be starting in Sunday's game. What teams say matters very little. Instead, what they actually do means a lot more and Vick has been on the field with the first team.
Most signs are pointing toward Vick playing on Sunday. He was cleared by independent doctors to return to practice and has since taken another concussion test. Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder says he's done well in both.
If Vick can't go, Mike Kafka will be taking his place as the quarterback, but the Eagles believe he'll be ready for the game.
Check out SB Nation's Bleeding Green Nation where they're anxiously awaiting confirmation of Vick's status for Sunday.
