NFL Picks Week 3: Broncos Vs. Titans

The revival of Matt Hasselbeck could continue this week against a Denver team decimated by injuries.

The highest paid running back in the NFL has just 77 yards rushing through his first two games of the season. The Tennessee Titans are not panicking, but they would like to see Chris Johnson pick up the pace after a holdout nixed his preseason.

Tennessee does have a resurgent Matt Hasselbeck. The most missed man in Seattle threw for more than 350 yards to upset the Ravens last week. He and Kenny Britt have established a powerful connection, an Britt is second in the league in receiving yards and touchdowns.

Denver may be happy to play on the road where homemade Tim Tebow signs in the peanut gallery will not haunt them as they look for their second win of the season. Staying healthy has been the biggest problem for the Broncos. While they're used to seeing Demaryius Thomas on the injury report, the return of Brandon Lloyd will be welcomed.

Andrew Sharp doesn't buy the Hasselbeck talk, and picks the Broncos to win this game.

I guess a lot of people are high on Matt Hasselbeck after that 300 yard game? Well, he's only thrown for 300+ yards in back-to-back games twice since 2004.

Peter King goes with the Titans, and ESPN is unanimous in their picking for Tennessee. The Broncos have a tall order with the number of injured players on their roster.
