Kyle Orton is nobody's idea of a savior. But as he displayed once again in the Denver Broncos' win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, he's perfectly capable of helping a team compete. Orton tossed a pair of second-half touchdowns and the Broncos held on for the victory.
Against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday, he'll be facing a team that will provide a pretty stiff test. The Titans forced three turnovers and allowed just 229 yards in their win over the Baltimore Ravens. Perhaps even more impressively, their offense 432 yards against what was expected to be a pretty decent defense.
The most surprising part of the offensive outburst was that Chris Johnson barely played a part. While Johnson was held to just 53 yards on 24 carries, it was Matt Hasselbeck picking up the slack. The Titans new quarterback threw for 358 yards, with 135 of that going to Kenny Britt.
