Tom Brady giveth and Tom Brady taketh away, at least on this day. The New England Patriots quarterback opened Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills with three touchdowns to stake his team to a 21-0 lead early in the second quarter. Fast-forward to the fourth quarter, and now Brady looks to be the game's goat as his fourth interception of the day was returned for a touchdown by Drayton Florence, giving the Bills an improbably 31-24 lead.
There is still a lot of football left to be played, but the Patriots are going to need Brady to return to his old self if they are to come back. Brady has thrown just 11 incompletions all day, but four of them have wound up in the hands of Bills defenders.
The biggest of those interceptions was grabbed by Florence, who took the ball 27 yards for his second career touchdown. It was his second interception on the young season, as well.
