Matt Hasselbeck threw for 311 yards and two touchdowns as the Tennessee Titans downed the Denver Broncos, 17-14. But while the Titans came away with the win, they did lose a significant contributor as Kenny Britt went down with what appeared to be a significant knee injury. But even without Britt, Hasslebeck and the Titans managed to survive, engineering a fourth quarter comeback leading to the three-point win.
Hasselbeck found Daniel Graham for four yards and the touchdown in the final frame for the go-ahead touchdown that turned out to be the game-winner. With a running game that was missing in action -- Chris Johnson rushed for just 21 yards -- it was all on Hasselbeck and the defense throughout, and both stepped up to fill the void.
Nate Washington led all receivers with eight catches for 92 yards and a touchdown in the win. Kyle Orton was hit-and-miss again for the Broncos with 173 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. Willis McGahee led the way on the ground with 52 yards on 22 carries.
