Torrey Smith is a highly talented rookie wide receiver out of Maryland, but until Week 3, he hadn't done much for the Baltimore Ravens offense. He made appearances in both of the team's first two games, but did not record a reception. He finally had his coming out party on Sunday, catching five balls for 152 yards and three touchdowns against the St. Louis Rams. Unfortunately, there are rumors circulating that Smith has picked up some sort of injury. If it's anything serious, it would be a seriously sad end to a spectacular day. Smith's speed is top tier, and he's about to be on the receiving end of a whole lot of hype.
Hilariously, Smith received a lot of criticism earlier this week, which Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome called ridiculous. Maybe Newsome knows what he's talking about.
