NFL Scores Week 3: Seattle Seahawks Win Close One Against Arizona Cardinals, 13-10

The Seattle Seahawks joined the winning crowd with a 13-10 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, 13-10.

After two embarrassing losses to open the season, the Seattle Seahawks joined the crowd and picked up their first victory of the season. Seattle was able to hold onto a 13-10 lead for the final 21 minutes of the game to put a mark in the "W" column.

The game, though, wasn't without its share of drama at the end of the game. Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb had taken the team into Seahawks territory with less than two minutes remaining. On 2nd-and-10, Kolb fumbled, but a teammate recovered it. On 3rd-and-12, Kolb looked for Todd Heap, but found Seattle's Kam Chancellor instead.

Arizona wrangled another drive after the interception, but Kolb was unable to get out of his own territory. On the last play of the game, Kolb fumbled and saw it recovered on the other side of the 50-yard line.

Tarvaris Jackson scored the Seahawks' touchdown on an 11-yard run in the third quarter, which came after two Steven Hauschka field goals (30, 52). Jackson was an unimpressive 18-of-31 for 171 yards and one interception. Kolb found Larry Fitzgerald in the end zone for the other touchdown of the game, a 12-yard grab over a couple of Seattle defenders.

The Cardinals (1-2) host the New York Giants next week. The Seahawks (1-2) stay at home to play the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.
